5th Anniversary Dinner of St. John Ambulance Malaysia
Taman Seraya Division
Venue: Dewan Cempaka (Kelab Darul Ehsan)
Time: 7.00pm-10.30pm
Date: 25th April 2009
(it was held on the same day as the basic first aid examination)
Our division booked one table for 10 people:

- Nikita Nair
- Amanda Lim
- Aris
- Claire Tan
- Heeran Nair
- Toh Shawn Zheng
Unfortunately, Joyce could not make it as she was ill.
At 7.00pm, everyone started to arrive looking stunning/dashing with their semi-formal attire.
Our division was seated on table No. 2.
(which was right behind the V.I.P's table. Therefore, we had a good view of all the performances. :D )
Once the opening speeches were given by their school's headmistress' representative, En. Mansor and Area Commander, Tuan Yap, we proceeded to fill our plates with yummy food.

The dinner was an all-you-can-eat-buffet. (desserts included! Yum!) While everyone devoured the delicious food, we were also treated with a music performance by two of our Taman Seraya friends on the violin & keyboard.
The emcees kick-started the event with an overview of the night ahead.
Then, there were two dance performances followed by a magic show which wow-ed the audience! The guests were also invited to join the dancers in front for ballroom dancing.
Later, the organizing team screened a multimedia presentation to showcase pictures and videos of Taman Seraya division's activities, B.O.Ds', members and their achievements.
Besides that, there was also a lucky draw event based on the local reality show 'Deal Or No Deal' concept.
Our division was struck with luck that night. We have not only one, but two winners for the lucky draw contest!
Yi Jean won a 4GB pendrive & Aris won an electric fan.

Aris, Shawn and Heeran.This dinner was not only tummy-filling and fun, it also gave us an opportunity to mingle and get to know our area officers and members from other divisions.
Before the event ended, a big sponge cake was brought in to celebrate the occasion.
On our way out of the function hall, we were given a CD and candies as souvenirs.

That wraps up this post on Taman Seraya's Anniversary dinner! We all enjoyed ourselves very much.
