DU Division Camp, 2010

Sorry for the uber late update, but here you go! Theupdate Du Division Camp of year 2010!

Date : 16 - 18 April, 2010.
Venue : SMK Damansara Utama.

This 3 days, 2 nights event happens every year and its always held in our school.

Day 1, 16th April 2010

Right after the afternoon session students were dismissed at 6.45 p.m. Campers started coming in to register to get their name tags and dinner.

this year, we did not use colour papers for the camper's name tags, instead we used colour strings instead! thanks to our camp secretary and treasurer (Sophie & Lee Xue Er) for handling the camp registration!

All of the campers placed all of their luggage in the canteen and gathered at the Assembly ground, all of them got into their own squads. They were all briefed on the Rules and Regulation that was printed at the back of their nametags.

After briefing, all of the campers shifted their luggage to the luggage room!

Then it was tent pitching time!

Squad Introductions was next!

All of the squads had awesome and creative cheers.

Right after the introductions by all squads, it was time for our first game for the night!

After the games, all of the squads gathered at the Multipurpose court and had their Supper which was prepared by our beloved QMs.

Then it was lights out and night shift Briefing by our DO; Kelsey Wong. ;)

Day 2, 17th April 2010.

Rise and Shine Campers!

After everyone was awake, campers gathered at the Assembly Court for some...

MORNING EXERCISE!

we even got last year's state campers to show us their random 'goyang-goyang' morning exercise! :)

After all the warm ups, campers headed towards the multipurpose court for their breakfast prepared by our QMs

Members changed into their Full-U when it was time for our Annual Opening Ceremony

Members changed back to their normal clothes after Opening Ceremony and they had some free time with their squads while the QMs prepared the ingredients for their *akhem* backwoods :D

After that, committees were busy preparing for the next activity and members had to change into dark-coloured shirts.

so in total there were 9 stations, and hopefully all squads completed every station and had fun at the same time!

Campers went to clean up after the games and it started raining heavily and all of them assembled in the activity room to discuss mk plans with their squad leaders while the QMs were preparing dinner for them.

After dinner, it was the highlight of the night!

Squads performances were awesome.

Night Shift and time to sleep (;

Day 3, 18th April 2010.

The last day (everyone go aww.)

Campers woke up early and washed up. Then all of them headed to the the Assembly Ground.

All members were told to change into their camp t-shirts after marching competition. Clean up time was next, all of the campers worked together with the committee to clean up the school compound.

Then it was lunch time!

Congrats guys! But please do remember that everyone's a winner in this camp because you made this camp such a blast! Without you guys, this camp would be nothing :)


Oh and yes, we had an encore of the SL and Committee's performance from last night's MK ;) then we had a group picture (which will be posted up soon.) and all the campers went home.
