DAY 1, 20 February 2009
Campers started coming in as early as 6.45pm, just as the Afternoon Session was dismissed.

Registration of all you awesome campers was carried out by the Camp Secretary Hong Ling and Camp Cleanliness Inspector Hsu Zen.
Campers were given colour-coded name tags.

Registration

The Macho SLs and Camp Committee helped campers carry their luggage to the Luggage Room. When everyone had registered, campers gathered at the Assembly Groud. They were welcomed and briefed on the Rules and Regulations by the Camp Disciplinarian Manoj.

Then, squads pitched tents together!

Halfway through tent-pitching, Mother Nature decided to give us a break from the recent hot weather.

Yes, you guessed right - it started to rain.

However, the rain did not dampen our Camp Spirit!

-

Once tents were pitched, campers moved to the Activity Room for Ice-breaking; Squad Introductions!
All squads showed such creativity when delivering their Squad Names and Squad Chants.

And despite the pouring rain, campers were as lively as ever!

And guess who decided to drop by? :)

Ah, none other than our Beloved Board of Directors 2007/2008!

Our Board of Directors 2008/2009 were also present!

Once all the Squads were properly introduced, we moved on to the second part of ice-breaking.

Hey, isn't camp all about getting to know other members? ;)

The rain eventually subsided and we carried out our next activity. Instead of the regular "Operasi Burung Hantu", the Camp Committee of 2009 decided to play a new card - 'Night Treasure Hunt'.
ooohhh..ahhhh..

Squads were once again tested on their ability to work together and brainstorm on mind-boggling clues.

After the squads have managed to discover A.C, supper was served in the Activity Room.
All the campers were greeted with hot, steaming choco milk and a couple of crunchy Tiger biscuits prepared by our lovely Quartermasters; Nikita, Joyce and Hashveena.

Due to the rain, some tents experienced minor floods. Campers were given the choice to either sleep in one of the few dry tents or in the classroom.
The campers that had guts chose tents, of course. ;)

Lights out ; 12.30 am.

Night shifters were placed by our Camp Disciplinarian.
